By accessing and using 1 Church ("the Service"), you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

These terms apply to all users of the Service, including churches, ministry leaders, volunteers, and congregants.

1 Church provides a comprehensive church management platform including:

• Online giving and donation management
• Event management and registration
• Volunteer coordination and training
• Sermon library and content management
• Prayer wall and community features
• Ministry management tools
• Communication and notification systems
• And other church administration features

⚠️ BETA STATUS: This service is currently in beta testing. Features may be incomplete, contain errors, or be modified or discontinued without notice.

Account Creation: You must provide accurate, current, and complete information when creating an account.

Account Security: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account.

Authorized Use: Church administrators must be authorized by their church to use this Service on behalf of the organization.

Accurate Information: You agree to provide truthful information, especially regarding donations, volunteer hours, and event registrations.

Payment Processing: Payments are processed through Stripe. By making a donation, you agree to Stripe's terms of service.

Fees: During beta, the Service is free. Upon commercial launch, subscription fees will apply as outlined in the pricing page.

Donations: All donations made through the platform go directly to the designated church or fund. 1 Church does not take any portion of donations.

Refunds: Donation refunds are at the sole discretion of the receiving church. Contact the church directly for refund requests.

Tax Receipts: Churches are responsible for issuing accurate tax receipts. 1 Church provides tools but does not guarantee tax deductibility.

Your Content: You retain ownership of content you post (sermons, prayer requests, events, etc.).

License to Us: By posting content, you grant 1 Church a non-exclusive license to store, display, and distribute your content as necessary to provide the Service.

Prohibited Content: You may not post content that is:

• Illegal, fraudulent, or violates any laws
• Harassing, abusive, or threatening
• Contains malware or viruses
• Violates intellectual property rights
• Contains false or misleading information
• Is spam or unsolicited advertising

Moderation: We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these terms or is deemed inappropriate.

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. Please review it carefully.

Data Security: We implement reasonable security measures to protect your data, but cannot guarantee absolute security.

Data Ownership: Churches own their data. You may export your data at any time.

Children's Data: Churches using the children's ministry features must comply with COPPA and obtain appropriate parental consent.

The 1 Church platform, including all software, design, and branding, is owned by 1 Church and protected by copyright and trademark laws.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse engineer any part of the Service without written permission.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.

We do not warrant that:

• The Service will be uninterrupted or error-free
• Data will not be lost or corrupted
• The Service will meet your specific requirements
• Security breaches will not occur

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, 1 CHURCH SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR USE.

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the past 12 months, or $100, whichever is greater.

By You: You may cancel your account at any time through your account settings.

By Us: We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or for any reason with 30 days notice.

Effect of Termination: Upon termination, your access will cease. You may request a data export within 30 days.

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes via email or in-app notification.

Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of [Your State/Country], without regard to conflict of law principles.

Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association.
