Follow these 5 simple steps to connect your prayer hotline
Go to Twilio.com and log in to your account
Alternative ways to get there:
- Search Google for "Twilio Console"
- Go directly to:
console.twilio.com - From Twilio homepage, click "Console" in top right
Look for the menu on the left side:
Click "Phone Numbers"
Then click "Manage"
Then click "Active Numbers"
Click on: (620) 798-5049

Scroll down on your phone number page to find "Messaging"
Look for: "A MESSAGE COMES IN"
Click the dropdown (might say "TwiML Bins")
Select "Webhook"
Paste your URL (from Step 3)
Make sure it says "HTTP POST"
Scroll down more to find "Voice & Fax"
Look for: "A CALL COMES IN"
Click the dropdown
Select "Webhook"
Paste the SAME URL again
Make sure it says "HTTP POST"
Scroll to the BOTTOM of the page
Click the BIG RED BUTTON that says:
⚠️ Changes won't work until you click Save!
After saving, test it by:
- Text "Please pray for me" to (620) 798-5049
- Wait 5-10 seconds
- Go to your Prayer Hotline Dashboard to see if it appears
